Our Philanthropic Efforts:
Gwinnett Medical Center’s Women’s Advisory Council actively works in partnership with Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation to transform healthcare in our community. On our quest, we are currently working to help raise the funds to provide some very special equipment needed to take special care of our smallest and most fragile patients – our babies in the neonatal ICU. There is an innovative new x-ray unit called The Carestream DRX-Revolution that will allow us to minimize radiation exposure to our babies by 50% and take imaging right to their bedside to minimize the amount of disturbance and pain to their little systems. Everything about The Carestream unit is specially designed for their tiny bodies. Proceeds from the Women’s Wellness Day will go to support the Women’s Advisory Council’s campaign to deliver The Carestream DRX-Revolution to our babies. We hope you will join us on our quest. Our next generation deserves the very best!
